2021 After an amazing journey working on Disney’s “Little Mermaid” it was time to hang up my flippers!

Summer 2020 “Everybody’s talking about Jamie” is an upcoming 2021 LGBT musical drama film directed by Jonathan Butterell from a screenplay by Tom MacRae and Dan Gillespie Sells, based upon the musical of the same name, inspired by the real life story of Jamie Campbell.


Bio : – Giles lives with his wife and daughter close to Pinewood Studios and Leavesden Studios and has worked both locally and internationally with some of the biggest names in film production.

He tuned his skills in photographing high speed action working in the equestrian media, while completing his study of photography at Carmarthen School of Arts.  Giles’ career in film production commenced in 1996 with his assisting the stills photographers on Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Elizabeth, The Borrowers.

His career progressed on to working as a stills photographer in his own right for productions including Billy Elliot, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace / action unit.

In the last few years Giles has been the principal stills photographer for “Fast 9” “MIB International” “Jurassic World 2” “The Martian” “The Fast and Furious 6” “Fury” and has been additional photographer on “Rogue One”

In recognition of his ongoing achievements in this challenging industry, the Society of Motion Pictures Stills Photographers (SMPSP) added him as a member in October 2016.

Giles is trusted and respected for his ability to deliver high quality unit still photography, poster shoots / key art and behind the scenes documentary coverage to reflect the tone of project for both studio and independent productions.

Part from spending time with the family when not on set. Giles has a passion for car restorations. Currently halfway through rebuilding a 1983 Range Rover.
